Comissioned Garb

The final product of a commission I started this summer for a classmate who provided the fabric.

She had started the chemise long ago, but recognized that it needed some work. I recreated the neckline, added a casing, and added sleeves.

The bodice was entirely my own work (including some interesting fixes via the back seam).

Although difficult to see, there are two and a half skirts. The top (green) skirt is hand embroidered, both down the front, and a bit more along the waistband. The blue is sewn into the sides to add flair and the appearance of a second, underskirt. The actual underskirt is a paisley design.

She also wears a lined drawstring bag that I made, which matches her bodice. _{They're so fun to make!}
